Laith Al Obaidi Group was founded in 1968 in Baghdad as a family trading company. Over the decades, our business has continuously evolved, and we have deepened our expertise in the automotive sector—laying a solid foundation for growth and sustainable success

Our journey began in Baghdad in 1968. We then expanded to Jordan in 1997 and moved to Dubai, UAE in 2003 to strengthen our operations. After that, we entered the Saudi market in 2009, where we established our headquarters and began operations, and we continued to grow by opening showrooms in Erbil in 2014. In addition, we opened a representative office in Germany in 2018. In the same vein, we strengthened our presence by securing, in 2022, the exclusive distributorships for Forthing and Dongfeng in Jordan and Iraq; then, in 2024, we became the exclusive distributor for ROX in Saudi Arabia and Iraq; and finally, in 2025, we obtained the exclusive JAC distributorship in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Accordingly, 2025 marked our strong launch in the Saudi Arabia through the opening of ROX and JAC showrooms in Riyadh and Jeddah, with further expansion to other regions planned for 2025–2026
